În urma a 13 percheziții, efectuate în patru județe, a fost destructurată o grupare infracțională specializată în fals de monedă.

La data de 12 ianuarie a.c., polițiștii Brigăzii de Combatere a Criminalității Organizate Pitești, sub supravegherea Parchetului de pe lângă Judecătoria Pitești, au efectuat 13 percheziții domiciliare, în județele Sibiu, Alba, Arad și Bacău, într-un dosar penal privind săvârșirea infracțiunilor de fals de monedă, uz de fals și înșelăciune.

Din cercetări au rezultat indicii că, în perioada octombrie-decembrie 2020, trei bărbați, cu vârste cuprinse între 30 și 40 de ani, ar fi pus în circulație mai multe bancnote de euro, în cupiuri de 20, 50 și 100, susceptibile a fi contrafăcute.

Cei în cauză s-ar fi deplasat în țară, unde ar fi achiziționat telefoane mobile de fabricație recentă, cu valoare însemnată, oferite spre vânzare prin platforme electronice. După realizarea achizițiilor, plasatorii ar fi revândut bunurile.

În urma perchezițiilor, au fost descoperite și ridicate mai multe telefoane mobile ce fac obiectul achizițiilor efectuate cu scopul plasării de monedă falsă, precum și un pistol neletal supus autorizării, dar și alte obiecte și înscrisuri cu valoare probatorie.

3 mandate de aducere vor fi puse în executare.

În cauză, s-a beneficiat de suportul de specialitate al Direcției Operațiuni Speciale din Poliția Română.

La acțiune au participat polițiști specializați în combaterea criminalității organizate din județele Alba, Arad, Bacău, Neamț, Sibiu și Vâlcea, precum și luptători din cadrul serviciilor pentru acțiuni speciale Alba, Arad, Bacău și Neamț.
