La data de 19 ianuarie 2021, în jurul orei 13,10, polițiștii din Blaj au intervenit pe DN 14 B, între Blaj și Crăciunelul de Jos, unde a avut loc un accident rutier soldat cu victime omenești.
Un bărbat de 35 de ani, din Blaj, în timp ce conducea un autoturism, în direcția Blaj – Crăciunelul de Jos, a intrat în coliziune cu un autoturism, condus, din sens opus, de un tânăr de 25 de ani, din Alba Iulia.
În urma accidentului, conducătorul celui de-al doilea autoturism a suferit leziuni corporale și a fost transportat la spital.
Cei doi conducători auto au fost testați cu aparatul etilotest, rezultatul fiind negativ.
